FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What lakes can we have the boat in? Your rented boat is available for delivery at many of launch sites for Lake Leelanau. Other small inland lakes may be an option – contact LPR for your specific request.
What launch sites are available? You can chose to start and finish your boating adventures at the Bingham Boat Launch on South Lake Leelanau, the Narrows Boat Launch and the Alpers Rd/East Leland Boat Launch on North Lake Leelanau.
What boat will we get? We have three Sweetwater Pontoons in our LPR Fleet, all 2016 and newer with at least a 90hp motor. Our boats hold at least 10 persons, and two can hold up to 12 persons. Our boats are in beautiful condition and include cup holders, a bimini cover and anchors for enjoying some time at the sandbars. Please email or call with any additional questions about our fleet.
What time is my rental? The standard rental time is from 9:30am – 5:00pm or 10:30am – 6:00pm, an 7.5 hour rental. Please contact us for an adjustment to your boat rental hours if necessary.
Will someone be the captain for our rental? This reservation is for you to captain the boat for a fabulous adventure on the water. Boater safety is recommended.
What happens after I book our reservation? Once you have selected and booked the dates you wish to reserve a pontoon rental, you will receive a confirmation email and follow up invoice and contract via email.
When do I pay? To complete and secure your reservation, pontoon bookings must be paid via emailed invoice through Paypal.
Life Jackets: Basic Life Jackets and all safety equipment will be provided onboard. Specific sizes including children’s jackets may be available upon request at booking.
Cooler: Feel free to bring your own coolers on board.
Prepaid Gas: Prepaid gas is for one day rentals only. It includes one full tank. We fill up for you after your day out. Or you can choose to fill it up as your coming in for pick up. There is a gas station just north of the bridge in the narrows. We charge $6.50 a gallon to fill up if it does not come back full.
